“Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”

- Ephesians 4:29

Vision:
To be a choir that uses its songs to comfort and encourage people, and bring glory to God.

Mission Statement:

“And we urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone.”

- 1 Thessalonians 5:14

Description:
“Shalom” is a Hebrew word meaning peace, completeness, and welfare, and can be used idiomatically to mean both hello and goodbye. An apt name for a choir originally formed to comfort and encourage the sick and the grieving. The original Shalom Choir mostly sang during memorial services to share the peace of God through song. G2 is the second generation of this choir whose purpose is still the same, but is not limited to memorial services. Under the Care ministry rather than the Worship ministry, Shalom G2 renders songs as a means of comfort and support.Shalom G2 regularly performs during the 2nd service (10:30am - 12:00nn) of every 5th Sunday of each month. Shalom G2 also renders songs during memorial services of church members, and for special requests by church members.
