Description:

Sherebiah Choir is the official adult-member choir of United Evangelical Church of Malabon. The name, “Sherebiah” is taken from the Hebrew word, meaning “singing with the Lord”. This word can also be found in the book of Ezra pertaining to a Levite, a capable man who co-signed the covenant with Nehemiah. Therefore, Sherebiah Choir intends to reflect its name as they sing the praises of our God and King.Sherebiah Choir performs song renditions during the second services (10:30am - 12:00nn) of every 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month.

Objectives:

- to assist and encourage involvement in corporate worship through the music and leadership they provide
- to enable its members to become passionate followers of Christ through spiritual disciplines of payer, daily devotion and Bible reading
- to provide training and educational opportunities for music and other related media (i.e. rehearsals and cantatas/musical productions)
- to publish music, periodicals and related educational materials for its members (i.e. music pieces, lectures, bulletin, website, egroup, etc.)
- to encourage fellowship and care among members
- to foster a spirit of cooperation and commitment among members

Membership Criteria:

- Must be a member of UECM
- Must have a committed heart for choir ministry
- Must be at least 18 years old & above
- Must undergo an audition
