Welcome
Message From the Senior Pastor
| Some people have wondered why the United Evangelical Church of Malabon uses Chinese characters for “Malabon” different from the ones commonly used in the Philippine-Chinese community. Well, it all started when Brother Cu Hui Hong noticed the similarity of sounds between “manna” in the Bible and “Mala” of Malabon. Manna was the daily food God provided for the Israelites when they left the land of Egypt. | ![]() |

| Brother Cu thought it would make a good name for our church. Hoping that everyone who enters through our doors will receive God’s blessing and grace, he translated the word “Malabon” in our church name as “Manna-bon,” or the “Door of Manna.”
As the senior pastor, I hope to work in one accord with my co-workers, by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to establish a God-pleasing church in the area of “Manna-bon.” With the exaltation and glory of God as our goal, the Bible as our foundation, and the mobilization of God’s people as our direction, we hope that everyone will be provided with spiritual and material manna. By this may all of us continue to grow to maturity, able to take up the Great Commission of the Lord and satisfy the heart of our Heavenly Father. My invitation to you is: Are you willing to come share in God’s bountiful provision? Are you willing to participate in our wonderful ministry of the Gospel? |
